Meet Julie....

Julie Hayes, located in Nottingham, England, is a singer song writer. She has worked with musicians and artists from the independent songwriter, to the major label artists and radio networks. Julie has also written, produced and mixed songs that have aired on radio.

In addition, Julie has taken on the role of developing songwriters through one to one and co-writing sessions.

Julie has been writing, producing, arranging, and mixing songs for most of her life. She has worked with Virgin, Fox, Universal, Sony, and EMI to name a few. She has worked with some of the legends of music. 

 

Blue Eyes and the Julie Hayes Band recorded its own material and supported many named artists such as The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Dr. Feelgood, Sad Café, AC/DC, The Rubettes, Blue Oyster Cult, Tommy Cooper and later Syd Lawrence Band, The Humphrey Littleton Band, George Melly and many more.

Her love for music has led her to write many different genres of music including rock, pop, jazz, dance and easy listening.

Julie was the singer and musician in the band Blue Eyes. This was a successful melodic rock band, which toured most of the major rock venues of the time. It was with Blue Eyes that Julie was offered a recording contract by Sir Richard Branson, formerly of Virgin Records. Standing on the shoulders of giants such as The Kinks, Dr Feelgood, The Humphrey Lyttleton Band, Julie's live shows, simultaneously smooth and swinging, have been performed extensively across the UK to delighted, sell-out audiences.

With a background in teaching and many years’ experience with live Rock Bands, Dance and Swing bands, Julie brings a classic sense of style, fun and charm to her live performances. Her beautiful voice is exciting and impeccable and she is considered by the music profession as one of the most dynamic and talented performers working today.
